In the construction industry since 2007, Aaron gained valuable hands-on experience building transportable homes. Over time, he expanded his skill set by working on new builds and renovations. In 2013, he took a leap of faith and founded Cates Construction. Every home and renovation successfully completed reinforces his commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Aaron takes great pride in delivering trustworthy, reliable results for every client.
Hamish
Our Project Manager Hamish has worked as a Client Manager for over a decade before joining Cates Construction in 2022. He is a pro at successfully managing relationships while delivering high-quality products on time and within budget. Hamish believes that his success to date is largely due to his structured approach and the priority he places on effective communication. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying time with his family or participating in local community trail rides on his dirt bike, often volunteering for the events.
Maia
An experienced office and administration professional, Maia is an expert at managing office operations, supporting teams, and ensuring smooth business processes. She joined Cates Construction in February 2023 after a short stint on maternity leave. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time at our local beach with her partner, son, and their cute dog Rocky, making the most of the beauty of nature and the New Zealand outdoors.
